What Is a Double-Chamber Vacuum Sealer and When Do You NeedOne?

A double-chamber vacuum sealer (twin-chamber or dual-cavity machine) contains two independent vacuum chambers
sharing one vacuum pump and control system. While one chamber is actively evacuating and sealing, the operator loads the
next bag into the second chamber. The machine alternates between chambers in a continuous cycle, dramatically increasing
throughput.
Why Double-Chamber Changes the Production Math:

When You Need a Double-Chamber Machine:
Output demand exceeds 200 bags/hour consistently
Labor cost reduction is a priority (same operator, double output)
You run high-value products where pump downtime between cycles is costly
Running two different product SKUs simultaneously (one chamber per SKU)
When a Single-Chamber Is Still the Right Choice:
Output is below 150 bags/hour
Facility floor space is limited
Budget is the primary constraint (double-chamber machines cost 40–80% more)
YGPACK Double-Chamber Range: Our DZ-500/2SB and DZ-600/2S series feature independently programmable chambers,
allowing different vacuum levels and seal times per side — useful when packaging products with different bag thicknesses on
the same line.
